Though the Corona Virus is a health issue, it has quickly become an economic issue. Over the past few days, we’ve seen entire segments of the economy shut down. Make no mistake about it, this will impact the pocketbooks, bank accounts, investments, paychecks and businesses of many.
It’s amazing how quickly the economy has turned from the longest-lasting, most robust economic surge this country has ever witnessed.
We all can agree, “What goes up must come down.” We just didn’t realize it would happen with such speed.
20 years ago I experienced a similar economic downturn. I was making the most money I’d ever made. Life was good. The demand for my services was high. Then things happened in the job market that I didn’t anticipate. Suddenly I went from making 110% of break-even to 25% when I could find work.
After three years of financial hardship, I finally came to the realization that my understanding of Faith and Prayer wasn’t working. Though I was recognized as a “faith teacher,” everything I was doing physically and spiritually was to no avail.
I was losing everything.
I had to step back and challenge everything I thought I knew. Out of this came a stronger faith and an understanding of how to create my own economy.
You see, even though I knew a lot of scripture, my dependency for income was rooted in the economic system of this world – which can turn on a dime. I had to learn how to draw my supply from “the heavenlies” instead of depending on Earth’s supply.
You and I have been forced into a new earthly economy, and the blame can be placed on many factors. But the blame doesn’t matter when it comes to putting food on the table and keeping your family sheltered and warm. What matters is what you are able to produce during times of trouble.
What I learned can help anyone learn to set their economy, independent from the world’s system.

My life turned around through what I learned. You don’t have to go through the same turmoil I went through before you find the answers.
