I believe the greatest gift God has given each of us is the gift of CHOICE.
The gift of choice demonstrates a selfless God. Though He has set in motion the laws of the universe, He will not force anyone to conform to His will. He allows us to choose things that are apart from what is best for us. He tells (those who will listen) what the right choice is… but He allows us to make our own choices.
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. – God (Deuteronomy 30:19)
